Pre-Order FAQ

When will I receive my pre-order?

Each fabric line comes with a month release date, ie. April 2026, November 2026, etc, we do not know the exact date we will receive our lines.  You can find each fabrics release month in its listing description.  

All pre-orders will be filled immediately upon fabric arrival in the shop.  Orders will be filled in the order they are received.  If you've selected pick up, you will receive a pick up notification when your order is ready to go.  All shipping orders will head out via Canada Post, UPS or Purolator, depending on your address, you will receive a shipping notification when your order has shipped.  

 

What if a fabric line has a missing or delayed fabric(s)?

Please know these things are beyond our control and do happen from time to time.  We will contact you if your order contains a fabric that is delayed.  At which point you can choose to either cancel or pick up/ship the delayed fabrics when they arrive in the shop.  

 

Why can't I pre-order a Fat Quarter stack?

We cut and prepare the majority of our fat quarter stacks in the shop.  Should a line be short a fabric that we have ordered, this presents a bit of a headache when trying to process a refund.  In order to keep things as simple and "headache-less" as possible, we are only offering pre-orders on yardage and manufacturer pre-cuts.  

 

Will I be notified when my pre-order arrives?

We do not send out notifications when fabric arrives in the shop, you will however, receive a pick up or shipping notification when your order is ready to go.  If there are any shortages with your order, you will be contacted as previously mentioned. 

 

When will I be charged for a pre-order?

You will be charged at checkout for all pre-orders, we do not store credit card information.

 

Can I combine pre-order items with in-stock items?

We prefer that all pre-order items are ordered separate from in-stock items, this is especially helpful for orders than require shipping.  However, should you combine pre-order and in-stock items for shipping, you will receive a separate invoice for shipping when the time comes to ship your pre-order items.  

 

Can I add to my pre-order after placing it?

Yes, definitely.  All pre-orders of the same fabrics will be cut as one continuous piece, unless you tell us otherwise.  

 

Can I cancel my pre-order and receive a refund after placing it?

Pre-orders may be cancelled with a refund up to one month prior to the fabric line release month (ie. fabric releases June 2026, cut off date for cancellation is May 1, 2026).  Any cancellation requests received after this cutoff date will receive store credit.

 

Do membership discounts and/or sales apply to pre-orders?

Stitch Members will receive their discount on all pre-orders, use code STITCHMEMBER at checkout.  All pre-orders are exempt from sales and other store promotions.
